1.6 Governing law and dispute resolution
For users in Colombia, this document is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising from its interpretation or application shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá D.C.
For users outside Colombia, applicable international consumer protection and data privacy rules in their jurisdiction will apply to the extent relevant and not contrary to mandatory Colombian provisions applicable to Pimentone SAS.

2.1 Applicable legal framework
Pimentone's processing of personal data is governed by the following legal framework, depending on the data subject's jurisdiction:

2.3 Purposes of processing
Collected personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Manage and respond to contact requests and commercial inquiries
- Evaluate the viability of a commercial relationship with the user
- Improve browsing experience and Site performance
- Perform statistical audience and behavior analysis (Google Analytics or an equivalent tool)
- Optimize digital advertising campaigns through conversion events (Meta Pixel)
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations
- Prevent fraud and ensure system security
- Operating the Vera digital assistance system, including commercial prospect qualification, conversation follow-up, and continuous system improvement through interaction analysis
2.4 Legal basis
Personal data processing by Pimentone relies on the following legal bases, depending on the data subject's applicable law:
- The data subject's explicit consent, granted by accepting these Terms and submitting the contact form
- Pimentone's legitimate interest in audience analysis and digital operations optimization, provided it does not override the data subject's fundamental rights
- Compliance with legal obligations applicable to Pimentone SAS in Colombia
2.5 International data transfers
Due to Pimentone's international operations and the use of third-party technology platforms, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the data subject's country of residence. Transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, including:

Pimentone ensures its technology providers implement appropriate data protection mechanisms (Privacy Shield, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalents) and does not transfer data to countries without adequate protection levels under SIC standards and, where applicable, European Commission standards.
2.6 Data retention
Personal data will be retained only for as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and in any case:
- Contact data and commercial inquiries: up to 5 years from the last contact, unless longer retention is legally required
- Browsing and analytics data: according to each tool's retention policies (Google Analytics: 14 months by default)
- Active client data: for the duration of the commercial relationship and up to 10 years thereafter, in accordance with Colombian tax and contractual obligations
- Conversations with the Vera digital assistant: up to 2 years from the last interaction, unless the user requests deletion before that period or a longer legal retention obligation applies. Commercial lead records associated with those conversations are retained for up to 5 years following the general contact data retention policy.
2.7 Data subject rights
Data subjects have the right to:
- Access, update, and rectify personal data
- Request deletion when there is no legal obligation to retain data (right to erasure / right to be forgotten)
- Object to processing in certain circumstances
- Request restriction of processing
- Receive data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller (data portability — under GDPR)
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing
- File a complaint with the SIC in Colombia or with the competent data protection authority in their jurisdiction

2.8 Minors
